Introduction

Since their creation, many types of custom Rubik cubes have been made. Nowadays there are so many types that they are difficult to keep track of. We will go through them.

Types based on size

Everyone is familiar with the custom 3 of 3 Rubik cubes. That has 6 surfaces. They are quite common and we see them around. One might think this is the only type of custom puzzle cube that exists but we are very wrong.  There are some twelve or even more types of Rubik cubes. Some cubes are never seen commonly. They are very rare. Some of the Rubik cubes may be pyramidal in shape others square and many more. These cubes are created just for the sake of difficulty and unique design. They are quite different than the traditional custom magic cubes. These geometrical cubes attract a great portion of society. Their unique shapes and designs not only result in them being difficult to solve but also look visually appealing..

Other types of cubes

Then some focus more on other stuff rather than geometry such as the custom magic cubes. These custom magic cubes are also known as the cubes of the future or the 21st-century cubes. These custom magic cubes can be connected to your phone via an app or through Bluetooth. These custom magic cubes are very useful for learning. They can be used to connect across the globe to many other cubers.

Looking at this we can see that the custom 3 of 3 Rubik cubes has evolved into something else. It has become a huge industry on its own. It is hard to imagine this many types and advances in the Rubik's cube industry.
